Our Little Helper!
While I was gone at a lia sophia conference in Florida Brendyn and John had painted our nursery. It has been a landing zone for random things for the last seven months. Brendyn has his new room and is so happy to help and be apart of making the nursery for his new baby sister. He is so excited for her to be born. He is going to be the best big brother our little girl can ask for. There has been a few times where we are out shopping and he will ask to buy toys for her. Today we actually let him pick one out. He can't wait to wrap it and give it to her.

Aww the last finishing touch on the room...the rug. We had the room done over 2 months ago minus the rug. We had a few returns until we found this one. Right size and right color. John and I bumped heads on the design of it but John always gives in. It wasn't exactly what was planned but we both love how it came together.

John's Surgery
John had surgery on the 5th for a hernia. Pour guy has been my little patient for the last few weeks. Although it has been exhausting I have honestly enjoyed every minute of it and am not looking forward to him going back to work. Brendyn has been really cute in helping me take care of John too. For instance, whenever John wheezes in pain he goes up to his belly and kisses him better. He also knows that John can't pick him up right now. A few days ago Brendyn got hurt and John carefully picked him up. Brendyn stop sobbing and looked at John very concerned and said "Daddy the Dr. said your not supposed to be holding me". We love our little man! John is recovering well and will be back to work soon.
