Getting Creative

Brendyn is going through what we hope is just another stage. Everytime John and I try to feed him we are lucky if we can even get three bits in. Somewhere along the line Brendyn has decided food is boring and never wants to eat. John and I have been making ourselves cazy by jumping, claping, dancing, cheering, and trying to do whatever it takes to get him to eat. Through all this, it has brought us to desparate measures.

This is one of Brendyn's favorite ways.

This usually works for awhile...

This is the best way to eat spaghetti according to Brendyn!

This is what happens when he is tired of us feeding him and he insists on feeding himself.

Ketchup works on everything!

Bethany is in the same stage. :) Atleast you have katchup though. My kids are not dippers. No katchup, no ranch, no nothing. they like things plain. :/

Cute pictures, by the way. Great memories for him when he's older.

I love the picture of the spaghetti on top of his head! You're going to need to hold onto that with notes to show him when he's older! Hahaha:)
I don't know why buy he'll usually get a few bites out of me when i'm there? And then a few outta Ashley and a few outta John. We might have to start making dinner parties JUST so Brendyn will eat! LOL :)
I don't know if this works or not but if he doesn't eat won't he realize he's hungry and want to eat? So maybe let him be and let him come to the food?:) Of course i'm not a parent and am only Uncle Neal so......But it seems like a good idea:)

Atleast dinner time stays exciting, but don't worry he won't let himself go hungry. My kids have gone through this and my Dr. said it's normal.

Neal's funny. Had to comment again. Jen's right. It's just a phase. When he hits a growth spurt, he'll start eating again and ask for seconds and thirds. Then he'll want to eat your food, and a half an hour later, he'll want more.

THAT'S the stage Emilee's on. CAN SHE GET ANY BIGGER! Oh they will, and they do... LOL

Hahahaha:) Of course I know he won't go hungry. Thats why I said it;) You gotta let him figure it out for himself though. He's a smart little cookie and he'll realize it really quick :D
